OUR MISSION

Hagar’s Heart was founded to support women in crisis  and to inspire women to rediscover how they are seen, valued, and loved. 

 

Since May 2020, Hagar's Heart has reached over 2,800 women and men in domestic violence shelters with the "I See You" box. The "I See You" box contains items that promote self-care and mental health. With 1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men effected by domestic violence in the metroplex, we believe self-care, taking an active role in protecting one's well-being and happiness, is a necessity. Therefore, every Hagar's Heart event promotes the building of caring for one's self.
